Another friend

Angel needs prayers, too.....   Thoughts and Prayers go out to Angel....... hoping for the best!   Cat

A friend in need.....

For Lin

Julie and Heather have already written of Lin, aka Groovy.  This is my contribution to her.   If you are an avid reader of Groovy's journal, then you will understand why I (we) must share her pain today.

Her place is where I go to get a good laugh, pick up my spirits, and wish I had her life sometimes.  Her family is great, her writings of them hilarious, and she has a way of making my day really bright.

Her entry today is different.  Today she made us cry her tears.  She made us feel her pain that she keeps hidden so well.  Today she gave us a glimpse of sadness we don't expect her to have, not shown in her daily musings.

So, I'm borrowing one of Angel's candles today (I don't think she would mind), in honor of Groovy (and Drew) and request that all who read this entry send more prayers Lin's way to help to lift her spirits, as she always lifts ours.

In Memorial

Here's Grace's name.....     Name Analysis: grace   Expression: 7

The Expression number shows us who we truly are, what we came into this life already knowing. This is where we feel most comfortable and how we automatically act. We attract people and situations to us that require our Expression so that they can further evolve. In this way we play the role of teacher. Naturally we are attracted to occupations that we resonate to, so the Expression number can be a strong factor in our choice of a career as well. Our Expression is the vehicle, with all its virtues and vices, that drives us along the path of our Destiny. It is the essence of our identity.

Yours is the path of the mind. Silence and solitude are your doorways into the deep recesses of the mind and the universe (being an only child, she's used to doing things by herself). You are the philosopher, the analyst, the seeker and if you'd be willing, the teacher. The time and energy that you spend discovering the microscopic core of things has gifted you with the ability to tap into psychic energy (She adores little tiny things and told us she talks to her 'gwannies'-I assume my grandmothers' spirits). It is with this energy that you can separate the true from the false.

  Soul Urge: 6

The Soul Urge number has also been called Heart's Desire and Spiritual Urge. It is our secret, innermost longing. Our dream, our motivation, the fuel that energizes our journey. The Soul Urge number reveals what we secretly strive to be or accomplish. Some have said that this number tells us what we have been in previous lifetimes, the accumulated growth of our soul.

Love, giving it and getting it is your main concern. You are drawn to people and situations that allow you to express your ability to harmonize, heal and sympathize. Family relationships take up much of your attention as you always like to know what's going on, and you are good at resolving conflict. Beauty and the arts or decorating are also ways that you may express yourself. Most of this is too early to tell.....she likes typical kid things-painting, coloring, beading, playdoh, etc.....

  Persona: 1

The Persona number describes the way we appear to the outside world, the first impression people have of us. We may not even be aware of how we are perceived by others because we are so often focused on our inner world, and many times the inner does not match the outer. Persona gives us a peek at some hidden talents we have. The talents that we use to get along in the world and in some instances, protect us from it. It is likened to a bag of tools (jewels) that we carry with us along the way.

Others see you as a unique individual who always does their "own thing". Independent, capable and pioneering, you seem to take control of the situation and make it run effectively (I hope she does!). You are very concerned with your image and always seem to dress in a way that gets noticed (This she gets from her father, no doubt about that).

Pretty interesting though....

Cat

It's all in the name.....

This is from Debbie's place:   This is a report based on one's name in numerology......see what your name says about you......

Name Analysis: Catherine (my apologies to those who thought my parents named me after the family pet :::winks::: Cat is obviously a nickname)

Expression: 11

The Expression number shows us who we truly are, what we came into this life already knowing. This is where we feel most comfortable and how we automatically act. We attract people and situations to us that require our Expression so that they can further evolve. In this way we play the role of teacher. Naturally we are attracted to occupations that we resonate to, so the Expression number can be a strong factor in our choice of a career as well. Our Expression is the vehicle, with all its virtues and vices, that drives us along the path of our Destiny. It is the essence of our identity.

You are endowed with a high vibrational energy that may be expressed through inspirational, teaching, preaching, acting, art or invention(I have done all of that at somepoint). You have access to prophetic wisdom and your positive attitude is a transformational force in other people's lives(I was told by a 'seer' once that I will be in a persons lif to get them through something, but then move on...it has happened to me more than I care to recount) . Fame and notoriety is very likely at some point in your life, as your kind of energy gets noticed (Hope not, I dislike the spotlight)! Much will be required of you in life when you have a master number vibration, because much will be given(No problem, bring it on) .

  Soul Urge: 2

The Soul Urge number has also been called Heart's Desire and Spiritual Urge. It is our secret, innermost longing. Our dream, our motivation, the fuel that energizes our journey. The Soul Urge number reveals what we secretly strive to be or accomplish. Some have said that this number tells us what we have been in previous lifetimes, the accumulated growth of our soul.

Peace and harmony is your desire (Always!). You are a natural mediator as you are genuine, tactful and adaptable. You tend to put your own will aside for others and it is difficult for you to make decisions (I'm ok at making them for me and Grace, but not when another person is involved..guess I think I'm being controlling). This may cause others to see you as shy, or lacking confidence. Your sensitivity and gentleness can be a great healing force bringing harmony and support to others(Sometimes not so gentle, though).

  Persona: 9

The Persona number describes the way we appear to the outside world, the first impression people have of us. We may not even be aware of how we are perceived by others because we are so often focused on our inner world, and many times the inner does not match the outer. Persona gives us a peek at some hidden talents we have. The talents that we use to get along in the world and in some instances, protect us from it. It is likened to a bag of tools (jewels) that we carry with us alongthe way.

People seem to be drawn to you for absolution. You emanate forgiveness, compassion and understanding. Your charming and generous personality brings you love and good luck in abundance. Many people will be attracted to you because of your idealistic and romantic nature. Others will be transformed by your example. You express yourself in the way you dress, and it can range from dramatically bold to mystically romantic to "struggling artist". Wow, I am speechless.... except speechless for the way I dress part, that is right on, too-I do always have a different look  depending on where I'm going..but don't we all?

Monday Morning Question....

Monday morning question brought to you by Krissy.

What is your favorite museum?  What is your favorite exhibit there?

I have to pick ONE?!  WOW, don't know if I can.  Museums are another hobby of mine.  Let's see now.... there are the Chicago Museums--I'd say they are all great and different... I saw King Tut's exhibit there when I was young.  Very cool.  I love planetariums!!!!!

The Smithsonian in DC... words can't say what a trip here is like... it is fascinating.

The Indianapolis Childrens Museum is awesome, too!

The William Mckinley Museum in Ohio (close to Canton) is a total unexpected thrill, not to mention the landscape in the park is beautiful for walks and picnics.

The Eiteljorg, here in Indy, is great for showing off Native American Art and way of life.

Hmmmm, I love all museums from antique cars to trains to Pioneer life... all of it turns me on.

My most favorite in the whole wide.. uh, country is The Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH.  Talk about a huge place!  There are airplanes all over... the ceilings, the walls, and outside.  It has space exhibits (ya all know I love space, right?).  It has an Imax, great gift shops.  Admission is even free (or was last time I went).  This is a museum worth seeing.

There is the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis TN is awesome, too.  It moves me to tears every time I go there.  Can't wait to take Gracie when she's older, so she can know that she has to succeed in her life for them, her ancestors who died fighting to give her the rights she has today.

I cannot pick one... Big or small, I love 'em all.

An apology...

To the people who have me on alert for entries, I apologize.   I am somewhat fanatical when it comes to correct spelling (again with the 'obsessive'  part).   So, when I post my entries and find an error, I must go back and fix it.  Which would explain why you may get 3 or 4 alerts to the same entry.  It also seems that although I type in paragraphs, sometimes when saved, the entries go into one long spiel.....I cannot have this.  I type it paragraphs, I want it that way.      So, again, I'm sorry to those who get several entry alerts for the same one.  I will say, sometimes if AOL is being uncooperative, I will just let 1 or 2 things go, but I still notice them and think about it.  I'm learning restraint...I think my J-Land buds will overlook the errors and read the message without thinking 'this chikie can't spell'  ... lol.   Cat
