Note to self...

You know, we all have this inner voice in our heads.

The one that tells us to be reasonable.  Or tries talking sense to us, makes us rationalize our fears, tells us we're making a mistake.  The voice that some call our conscience.

It can make you or break you in an instant.

Lately, my inner voice is a deafening roar.  I continue to fight what it says I should do, despite my knowing that the voice speaks the truth.  In some ways, it is trying to save my life.  Or extend it anyway...

My ignoring this voice is selfish and childish.  Yet I continue to do so.  I don't know why.  Do you do it, too?

If you don't ignore the voice in your head, what makes you listen to yourself?

End note :)

wow, I am SO good at ignorning that inner voice.  Mostly when it comes to relationships and my health.  'Cause, really, if you ignore that inner voice long enough things will start going your way, right?  LOL - if only it could be that easy!

My inner voice is telling me that I need to eat a ham and cheese toasted sandwich, no way I'm ignoring that one ;o)
Know what you mean though Cat.

I have found that if I listen to that inner voice, it is usually leading me on a better or safer path than I would choose should I ignore it.  Sometimes I choose correctly and sometimes I don't.  The inner voice seems to have a better percentage of success than I do when I ignore it.

Happy New Year to you and Gracie.  May this new year usher in all the best for you and all your family.

yep, i do this too.  it screams the truth always....but sometimes the changes we need to make are scary, uncomfortable, and it's easier to stay stuck than to jump.....whatever it is, all you can do is get your ducks in a row and take it day by day......instead of a giant leap, take small steps....you'll get there just the same.

For me, it's all what that voice is telling me...  Most times I don't listen, but some times I do...
Hope everthing is okay...

*hugs*

I don't ignore it, sometimes I put it on hold, but I don't ignore it....putting it on hold almost cost me my life, but I'm here and I am breathing....I call my intuition...it's there for a reason.

sometimes I wish I had a mute button for that goody two shoes in my head ;)

course, sometimes it saves my ass and then I wonder why I don't listen more often.

LOL, but all the time I think I'm just crazy and hearing voices ;)
