O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum.....

The house didn't stay spotless very long, but its still better than normal.... lol.    Let me set the house up a little first.  It is Victorian, the original being similar to a 'box' style house... meaning four connecting rooms on both levels.  The present kitchen was added on while my grandmother was still a young girl here (including a bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in storage closet upstairs).  They also had to dig the basement for the addition for access to the existing basement's coal room and oil tank (we still use oil for heat).  Ok, that said, here are the house pictures..... So that's it.  I need to get an outside shot, but I'm waiting (hoping) for snow--that just sets the whole thing off.....

Enjoy and have a great evening...

Ooooh, you have a library!!
The house is beautiful, looks full of character, but, you have a library, oooh!!
Do you sit in there and read?  Is it quiet and peaceful, as it is in my imagination?  So wanting a library!!

reply to Sara:  Yes, many times we sit and read in the library.  We also have our sound system in there, perfect for sitting (or dancing) while listening to music.  Dad built all the bookcases himself... there are books on all four walls, of all types.

I have an older house as well.  I am not even sure when it was built - possibly in the 1700's.  I love old things.  Your house is beautiful!

I wanna library too!  Your house looks lovely, inviting and warm.  So, when's the party?  And I love your village!  I was thinking of posting photos of my home interior as well, and now I think I will.  Thanks Cat!
Happy Holiday!
