Steelers joust Jets....

The Steelers have made their way, as I predicted...lol.... to next week's game, with home-field advantage all the way to Jacksonville  :)

                     Ben Roethlisberger

It wasn't an easy win by any means.  In true Pittsburgh fashion, they kept the game close, too close-going into overtime with the Jets receiving the ball first.  But a missed field goal opp gave the ball back to the Steeler offense, who turned it into a drive down field for a field goal to win 20-17.

Now, one would assume Peyton to be in the top spot for as long as it took Manning to break Marino's record.... don't be so sure.  Ben Roethlisberger is well underway in his first season as an NFL player, to make a run for Peyton's new achievement....

As I mentioned, polls are pulling for the Colts to take victory over New England, a long time coming in my book.  There is some skepticism over weather, but I don't see that a factor.

This game is about dues, respect, and I'm sure pride.  The Colts are 0-6 at Foxboro; time for that chain to be broken......

:::fingers crossed:::

Thank God, by whatever name, for that  :)
