Addendum ends in M....

In case I need to say this...

I'm not complaining about the food~I like to see kids eat  :)   And its sad for me when kids have dietary restrictions from allergies.... because I know what they're missing out on... and so do they...

My concern is meant from a parental perspective... cleaning stains on clothes and glitter, sand, or seeds (we have big vats full of this stuff with toys for them to play in, etc....) from hair... and certain body parts.

The kids are the best part, even when they're all crying and fighting.....

I completely understand....
I loved my kids, when I had them.
I don't do daycare anymore.
and I am glad for the change in life,
but I still love and miss the kids. :)

Glitter and sand always came home with J, and I always had to send an extra set of clothes - even for just two and a half hours - because at some point he would play with either the water table or the taps in the bathroom and soak himself.  He loved it :o)

Working in a day nursery I love the Mums who provide an extra set of clothes and keep old clothes to wear for nursery, makes my job so much easier!I dread Mums who are up in arms at their messy kid and dont realise what fun they have had while they have been with us for ten hours!

Ciara has a kid at her school who is allergic to peanuts and eggs, poor kid will never know the pleasures of a tasty Reese's cup or cupcakes, I'll eat a few just for him, LOL.

To be surrounded by so much youthful energy every day, a trial and a blessing at the same time.  Children can teach us many things about ourselves.  Luck has smiled upon you.  ~Dona

When I was a kid we had 'play clothes'...I don't know why some parents dress their kids like it's church every day, but more power to them and their dry cleaner ;)  Pey has Jeans and Tees for school, if it can get messy she can wear it, she can only wear 'nice' clothes on Music day.  I know what you're saying about the food, yogurt and milk products don't do so well ground into carpet or stuck in crevices somewhere ;)
