Weekend Assignment #51......

The task this weekend is to write a............ Spring Haiku   :)

A haiku has three lines.  The first and third have five syllables, the second has seven,

Spring is springing soon

Flowers blooming, trees budding

Smell it in the air

Give it a shot, then link your's to Scalzi's place.....

This song is from my Dad's collection.

Harry Nilsson sings it and he has another song (You're breaking my heart) that used to get my brother and I and our friends in trouble because we played it so loud with the windows open, singing at the top of our lungs.  I may or may not load that song here due to its content--

We used to laugh at this song~it made no sense.... and it still doesn't, I just love the rhythm (not beat, Brian :::winks:::).

It is motivational if nothing else........

Great last line. It has impact, and for me, that makes a haiku.

Love the Haiku!
Here's my effort...

Spring is almost here
Daffodils, out already
Sunshine, blue sky... nice :o)

The smiley face doesn't count as a syllable!
