A friend in need.....

For Lin

Julie and Heather have already written of Lin, aka Groovy.  This is my contribution to her.   If you are an avid reader of Groovy's journal, then you will understand why I (we) must share her pain today.

Her place is where I go to get a good laugh, pick up my spirits, and wish I had her life sometimes.  Her family is great, her writings of them hilarious, and she has a way of making my day really bright.

Her entry today is different.  Today she made us cry her tears.  She made us feel her pain that she keeps hidden so well.  Today she gave us a glimpse of sadness we don't expect her to have, not shown in her daily musings.

So, I'm borrowing one of Angel's candles today (I don't think she would mind), in honor of Groovy (and Drew) and request that all who read this entry send more prayers Lin's way to help to lift her spirits, as she always lifts ours.

In Memorial

Oh Cat, I don't know what to say.  Today has been so incredibly hard, but reading your entry has touched me so very deeply.  It's words like this that help get me through the rough spots.  I don't know how to thank you enough.

I think that it is so great to have friends that actually think of others. I have written to Groovy and I hope that she is feeling better. I am going through the same and it is a hard thing to go through alone. I am glad that she has you all and I hope that she always knows that.
